21st October 2018

Hello reader's, its that time of the week again. With a leg of lamb prepared and placed in the slow cooker, a large chicken prepared and placed in our new cooker.

With the temperature a mild 8 degrees and the clock ticking over 7.48am and with a belly full of Guiness I'm out the gate and off on another #sundaymorningwalk /run.

You may be wondering why 2 roasts today, well we are honoured to finally have the presence of Lord and Lady Fowler of Kinfauns residing over night and her ladyship isn't to keen on chicken hmmph.

Anyway I digress, back to walk, there is a lot of low musty cloud as I make my way to the lake on week 6 of my couch to 5k journey, beautiful blue sky is hiding above the transparent clouds and another beautiful sunny autumnal day in North Worcestershire is forecast.

Autumn is definitely here with the glorious reds and oranges of the leaves on the trees and those falling to the ground, squirrels busy hiding their stashes in preparation of the Arctic blast we are predicted to be having.

A pass a pair of doggers taking a breather on a bench and we nod a good morning as I trot past.

Those brave enough to cross the meadow leave trails behind them on the morning dew and wet foot and paw prints in the pathways.

I bump into a work colleague running towards me so I turn and jog with him for a while until Laura congratulates me on completing my run for the day and tells me to warm down with a brisk 5 min walk.

Making my way back home i walk a different way, through the factory units of South Moons Moat and up onto the bus lane near the TA centre.

Opening the back door a wonderful aroma hits my nostrils, not Lady Fowlers perfume, it's the combination of lamb and almost cooked chicken, hmm food, time for breakfast.

4.4 miles completed this morning and 586 calories burnt, well and truly losing my All Inclusive belly from our recent holiday in Fuertaventura.

Have a great Sunday everyone especially our wonderful guests creaking the floorboards above my head as they wake from their slumber.

Be nice to your other half today as its the National Happy Sunday to all baldies.

Until next week

Ta-ra for a bit
