Hello readers, it's that time of the week again, with the clock ticking over to 7.45am (no early early mornings as its still dark), long trousers and Ping showerproof jacket on I'm off out the back door on another #sundaymorningwalk

It's a very damp morning in North Worcestershire, the temperature is 7 degrees but feels warmer under the low cloud.I make my way through the woods, the pathway covered with a blanket of fallen leaves.

The leaves that remain in the trees are wonderful colours of red, orange and yellow.

A pair of blackbirds looking breakfast stare at me for a second before flying off.

The babbling brook flowing again after the rains of the past few days.

I make my way towards Beoley and up the hill past the memorial to our fallen heroes outside St Leonards Church, I pause for a moment silently thanking them for their sacrifice.

A flock of sheeps in the meadow stare at me as I creep closer to take a photo, they pose for second before one gets startled and runs off, the others following like sheep, all I can think of is mint sauce as I continue my walk.

Only 1 dogger this morning but a Good Morning was passed between us.

You may have noticed the lack of a slash run on my first paragraph, the reason for this is after completing week 8 of the couch to 5k programme (a 9 week programme) I felt strong enough to participate in the Redditch 5k parkrun on Saturday, so I did, completing the grueling 2 laps of the lake up and down the hills with another 517 joggers in a time of 28m 45 secs.

My aim is to break the 25min mark but I need to start nearer to the front as I got held up by persons thinking they could go faster than they actually could, a consequence of this meant that I didn't actually get in my running stride until at least 500m in. Have a good Sunday everyone and spare a thought at 11am for the men, ladies, boys and girls who gave us our freedom and allow us to live the way we do.

Until next week, when we have our Goan friends staying for the weekend (bring your trainers) no not Gav and Jayne, it's the cockney sparrows T&T coming up to breathe some fresh Worcestershire air.

Which reminds me I must buy some more milk and sweeteners 😁😁

 Ta-ra for a bit.#respect #remember
